Just got an email from Envelopments – their new designs for 2009 have just shipped! As an Envelopments Dealer/Designer, our shop has a design studio for planning custom designs with brides and grooms, new parents, and anyone else who might need a custom design for their invitations or announcements, and this new release means updated recipe cards, color combinations, and full-size samples. I’ll have some up-close-and-personal photos when the set and sample arrive later this week, but the designs are up to preview on the Envelopments site.

And if you’ve already got a design or theme in mind but just need help bringing it to life, get in touch! We’d be happy to work with you to make your wedding invitations and other custom stationery as lovely as you.

In the coming weeks I plan to highlight some of the creative and interesting products we’ll be carrying in the shop. The Details line from American Crafts gets the honor (dubious at best) of being the first product featured.

If you’re looking for that little something extra to add to your papercrafting project, Details just might fit the bill. Packaged in themed sets of six, these self-adhesive mini masterpieces are constructed from an eclectic mix of materials – felt, vinyl, buttons, paper, string – and give your work a personalized, craftsman feel.

One of my favorite features (of many) is the unique colorways Details uses. They coordinate amazingly well with American Crafts’ existing paper lines, but they’re also special enough to use as the focal point of a simpler project. Pump the volume on a birthday card, dress up a basic picture frame… you name the project, they’ll bring the pizazz. Look for Details in the store on opening day!

Hello everyone! Thanks for your interest in Fluff Paper, and thanks for stopping by our blog. Whether you got her from Facebook or Twitter or just stumbled here randomly, we’re happy to see you. The store opening is barely six weeks away, and preparations and speeding along – shelves are being stocked with inventory, the site design is being finalized, and my crack development team (aka my husband Jason) is working on some special features to make your shopping experience the best it can possibly be.

We plan to use this blog to highlight some of the amazing products we carry and to inform you about all things paper and stationery. We’ll make the occasional announcement here, but the best way to ensure you receiving the latest news from us is by joining our mailing list.

Thank you for all your support as we jump into the deep end and start this venture. We hope you’ll stay tuned. And shop!
